The North Florida TPO is the independent regional transportation planning agency for Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties. We lead our region's efforts in planning, funding and mobilizing resources to develop and maintain our transportation system.

Our mission is to provide a regional forum for developing an effective transportation system that moves people and goods safely, economically and efficiently, maintaining a high quality of life in North Florida.

TPO Talks Bike/Ped Issues at the Beach

The North Florida TPO will be at two beaches area events this week to solicit input for the Beaches Bicycle and Pedestrian Study. We'll be the North Beach Art Walk Thursday, March 19, 5-9 p.m. near Al's Pizza and the Jacksonville Beach Police Department Beach & Bicycle Safety Rodeo on Saturday, March 21, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Sea Walk Pavilion. Come to San Marco-Riverside Bike/Ped Workshop Monday March 16 at San Marco Preservation Hall

The North Florida TPO will be at San Marco Preservation Hall on Monday March 16, 4:30-7:30 p.m. to gather public input for a study to develop a network of bicycling and walking routes and an accompanying wayfinding system within Riverside and San Marco. MORE
