Hundreds of North Florida residents die in traffic crashes annually, so the North Florida TPO is developing a plan to save lives.
More than just having good company, sharing the ride to work helps you save money and reduce stress.
The North Florida TPO is the independent regional transportation planning agency for Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties. We lead our region's efforts in planning, funding and mobilizing resources to develop and maintain our transportation system.
Our mission is to provide a regional forum for developing an effective transportation system that moves people and goods safely, economically and efficiently, maintaining a high quality of life in North Florida.
If you have any questions or comments pertaining to TPO plans, programs or projects please contact us at (904) 306-7500. Our address is 1022 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207. For complaints, questions or concerns about civil rights or non-discrimination, or for special requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act, please contact Marci Larson, Public Affairs Manager/Title VI Coordinator at (904) 306-7513.
Each spring the North Florida TPO updates the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) list of road, transit, airport, seaport, bicycle and pedestrian projects for the next five years. The 2015/16 – 2019/20 TIP schedules funding for environmental studies, design, right-of-way, utility work and construction. The draft TIP was posted online for review April 9, 2015 and we want your thoughts on the planned projects. MORE
