Public Involvement
Public involvement is a critical element in the transportation planning process. Many people take transportation planning for granted until an issue arises that affects them personally. A comprehensive transportation planning process includes public input before final decisions are made. We encourage you to get involved in the early stages of planning to help shape our future transportation system.
EASY WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
ATTEND PUBLIC MEETINGS
Our Board and Committees meet monthly except January and July at the TPO offices. Visit the meetings page for dates, times and agendas. Meetings provide an opportunity for public comments. You may also submit agenda comments online from the meetings page.

REQUEST A SPEAKER
We are happy to come to your group to speak about the TPO and transportation issues. Current speaker topics include an overview of the TPO, the 2035 Long Range Transportation Plan, Commuter services, Clean Cities program (alternative fuels) and intelligent transportation systems (ITS).
